Glad you're ok Steve, I haven't seen a big bike roll over the top of the rider like that for a long time. It could have been a punctured lung, broken limbs territory, or worse. The ambo is right though, live your life and get out there. Ride safe and here's to the adventure continuing.

When I saw your off footage before I didn't realize that Roxette slid over you. You lucked out! In a couple of ways! Looking forward to the rest of the footage. I took the T7 for an afternoon excursion on the twisty Lost Coast roads here in Humboldt. Ferndale to Patrolia. Minimal dirt but scenic like Big Sur in spots. and yes, I take the InReach with me. Thanks for reminding me to put it on charge tonight., since I always ride alone.

Hey good to see a bad situation turn out OK'ish. I was able to sort out where you were (Fernwicks Rd - Cobcrofts Trail - Mooraback Rd) but you said you were going through to Bellbrook when you were at the washed out bridge. I am assuming by trying to link up with Coachwood Rd. Have you been through there before??? Because I think you were going to get stuck with some locked gates further on (at least that's what my NSW Topo tells me). Cheers.

Maybe the traction control has something to do with the way the bike is behaving. Doing its job in the greasy stuff but suddenly gripping when on the firm surface. Just a theory.

Enjoyed your vid Steve. I can't help and think about the "sliding door" moment when you said, "Is this something we want to do?" I think your gut and experience was trying to tell you something. On a lighter note, I think Roxette has a fettish for being on top. Be careful with this one, we don't want a Michael Douglas/Glenn Close moment 🤣🤣🤣

Looks from the video like your front tire got into the scrub at the edge of the road. I am glad all three of you will get to ride another day. every one I know who has had to use the sos on garmin was ecstatic about the response!

Thats the problem when you ride with some guys that are too adventurous ,you had enough experience to know it was not a good idea at the start of that track.Dry road it would of been a great ride.

I've started so many ride days in Walcha - mostly shivering my tits off ! We confused the hell out of Wyvern Biker (UK Motovlogger) when he came here and toured with us. In the one day we had 37 degrees at Maclean and 3 at Walcha 😆 I've done many of the trails and roads off to each side of the Oxley - I think there's probably NONE I would do wet - man you guys did well. As I said to Chris, I've been watching all of these, but on the big screen with surround sound (as they deserve) and rarely get to come back to them on the computer and comment. Hmmm... isn't the bike supposed to be under the rider?? 😉

My Dad had a 1977 Honda 750 Four SS. I wanted that bike but he wouldn't sell it to me. He got scared by something shortly after he had that bike and sold it years later with barely over 500 miles on it. Shame he didn't sell it to me, I'd have loved that bike and probably would still have it. (Even if it was a funky shade of maroon.) I'm loving the T7. Mods are showing up, though I'm trying to keep it light. Gonna try the Molecule Motorsports synthetic Bash Plate and the minimalistic Camel ADV rear rack and side "racks" to keep the soft luggage off the plastic and exhaust. I'm going to try the Yamaha engine guards for the time being, easy swap if I don't like them. I figure that if they are good enough for Dave Darcy then they should work for lil ole me. Good to see you posting the rides. I do prefer your voice over the AI in this one.
